Terms of Service
Last updated: August 28, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Webwryte (“Webwryte,” “we,” “us”), including our website, dashboard, and design services. By creating an account or purchasing a service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Webwryte provides website and page design services, delivered either as a one-time paid project or through a monthly subscription plan. Work is scoped through a design request you submit in your dashboard, and moves through a status pipeline (submitted, in progress, review, revision, completed) until you approve the final deliverable.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your password secure. You’re responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
3. Orders, pricing, and payment
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and shown at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details on our own servers. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until canceled, and each plan includes a set number of design requests per month as described on the pricing page at the time of purchase.
4. Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. One-time project payments are generally non-refundable once design work has started, since they cover time already spent on your request. If something isn’t right, contact us — we’ll work with you to make it right on a case-by-case basis.
5. Design requests and revisions
Each design request should include enough detail (page type, desired style, references, deadline) for us to scope the work accurately. Revisions are included as described for your plan or service; requests for work substantially outside the original scope may be treated as a new request.
6. Content you submit
You retain ownership of any files, briefs, brand assets, or other content you upload. You grant us a limited license to use that content solely to deliver the service you’ve requested. You’re responsible for having the rights to anything you upload, and for not submitting content that’s illegal, infringing, or that you don’t have permission to share.
7. Deliverables and intellectual property
Once a design request is paid in full and marked completed, you own the final delivered design files for your own use. We may reference completed work in our portfolio to showcase our services; if you’d prefer we not do that for your project, let us know and we won’t.
8. Acceptable use
Don’t use Webwryte to request, upload, or promote content that’s illegal, infringing, fraudulent, or abusive, or to attempt to interfere with or gain unauthorized access to our systems.
9. Termination
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Termination doesn’t entitle you to a refund of amounts already paid, except as described above.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Webwryte is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll notify you by email or through the dashboard. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
